Action Plan Matrix

The Action Plan Matrix has been organized in three areas — Category, Sub-basin, and Community — and is available by selecting one of the menus on the left.

Note: This information is also available for viewing/download as an Excel spreadsheet in the Reading Room.

When you select one of the Recommendation areas from the menu, a new window will open and a spreadsheet-like table will appear similar to the one below.

Please note: Depending on your monitor size and resolution settings, this window may fill the whole screen so that you cannot see the Heading tabs and/or the right-hand scroll bar and sizing controls.

To resize the window:

  1. Position your mouse pointer on the window's Active Title Bar. (In the sample above, it is the bright blue bar at the top of the window.)
  2. Click and hold the mouse button down and drag the window down and to the left until you see the right-hand side of the window. (You may have to let go of the button and grab and drag the window a couple of times to get to the right-hand side of the window.)
  3. Position the mouse pointer over the right-hand edge of the window until it becomes a horizontal line with two arrows.
  4. Click and hold the mouse button down on the edge of the window and drag it ot the left.
  5. You will need to do the same with the top (or bottom) of the window until the window fits on the screen and you can view the headings and scroll bar for the matrix.

In the center of the window are subject headings. To view the Action Plan Matrix for one of the headings, simply click on the heading. For example, to view the Flag sub-basin Action Plan, click on the Flag heading.

In both the Sub-basin and Community Action Plans, there are more headings than can be fit on the screen. In order to accessthe headings that are out of view, you must use the forward and backward controls on the bottom left-hand corner of the window. These controls are similar to the controls of a VCR. Clicking on the left-most control (<<) will take you to the beginning of the headings list. The next control (<) will move the heading list one item to the left. The next control (>) will move the heading list one item to the right. The last control (>>) will take you to the end of the heading list.

When the information for a particular heading is longer than the screen length, a horizontal scroll bar will appear on the right-hand side of the window. Use the top or bottom arrow on the bar to scroll the conent up or down.

When you are finished viewing the information, click the X in the upper right corner of the window to close it.
