"Naturally Curious" with Mary Holland, Naturalist, Author, Blogger

Sunday, March 29, 2015, begins at 2:00 p.m.
NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton, MA

The NRWA and the Groton Garden Club invite the public to join us for a fascinating presentation by the author of Naturally Curious: A Photographic Field Guide and Month-by-Month Journey through the Fields, Woods, and Marshes of New England. Naturalist and photographer Mary Holland will share her passion for the flora, fauna, and landscapes of New England with a PowerPoint presentation and display of her natural artifacts collection. Mary's book has received accolades from David Sibley (The Sibley Guide to Birds), Bill McKibben (The End of Nature), Richard Louv (The Last Child in the Woods), and many more. Mary is also the author of several children's books including her newest, Animal Eyes. Mary will be available for a book signing; books can be purchased that afternoon. This program is free and open to the public, made possible, in part, by a grant for the Groton Trust Funds' Lecture Fund. Seating is limited; pre-registration is required.
