Wilderness Summer Survival Week for Youth for Ages 11 to 14

June 26 – June 29,2017 (Mon -Thu) 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Young teens are invited to challenge themselves in nature with four adventurous, action-packed days led by the Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA).  Enjoy days of hiking on trails through conservation properties in Groton, paddling on the Squannacook River, developing summer survival skills, and exploring the inner world of our local river, woodlands and fields while making new friends.  “Wilderness Summer Survival Week” for ages 11 thru 14 will be based at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton. This small group adventure is led by NRWA’s River Classroom Director, Stacey Chilcoat. The fee for this four-day program is $200 for NRWA members, and $230 for non-members.  Space is limited; pre-registration is required.
