Free Fishing Workshop for Beginner's

Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
at the Petapawag Boat Launch, Nod Rod in Groton, MA

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now, just in time for summer, is your chance. Let Jim Lagacy from the MassWildlife Angler Education Program be your guide. All the equipment you need will be on hand for use, from fishing poles to live bait. You’ll learn the basics, from casting out, to baiting up, and the best part - you’ll actually be able to fish. You do not need a fishing license to attend; leader has a group license for the workshop. So come try your hand at this great pastime, guaranteed to catch some fun! Please note: This family-friendly program is intended for beginners.

The workshop is free, and open to ages 6 and up; children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Pre-registration is required; space is limited.
