Adult Education

The NRWA's adult education programs cover a wide range of watershed topics, with varied offerings each season. For a list of what's happening, see Coming Events. Most of the NRWA's adult programs take place on weeknight evenings at the River Resource Center.

Many adult programs are geared to educating municipal boards, planners, and interested citizens on technical issues such as stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, lake and pond management, identifying intermittent and perennial streams or vernal pools out of season, and conserving land through the state's Chapter 61 program. The NRWA also presents programs of interest to the general public on topics such as sense of place, living with suburban wildlife, plant communities and rare plants, beavers, birds and butterflies. See List of Past NRWA Adult Programs.

For more information on adult programs, please call Al Futterman, NRWA's Land Programs and Outreach Director at 978/448-0299 or e-mail alfutterman@NashuaRiverWatershed.org. Also check the News and Coming Events pages.
