| Identify native flora along the trail |
The NRWA's Self-Guided Nature Trail is located on the property of the River Resource Center in Groton. The trail, less than a half mile long, passes through wooded, flat terrain. Trail markers identify the native flora: mosses, ferns, pines, a variety of deciduous trees and wildflowers.
The woods along the trail provide a home to many birds and mammals. Visitors can listen for their songs and look for their dens and tracks.
You can find the Nature Trail at the rear of the NRWA parking lot. Stop by the kiosk at the trail's entrance for a map and enjoy a leisurely walk through our woods.
For more information about the trail or if you would like to volunteer to help with trail maintenance, please call the NRWA or e-mail nrwa@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
