The NRWA offers walks, workshops, and lectures providing the most current science presented by leaders in the fields of natural resource protection, land management and stewardship, water science and river restoration, climate resilience, wildlife biology, and other fields relevant to our mission. These programs are open to the public, and generally free of charge.

Nature Quest in Nashua: FREE Guided Family Outdoor Explorations- Next Walk May 31
NRWA Naturalists will lead FREE guided outdoor exploration programs for children ages 6 to 13 and their families at parks in the City of Nashua.
Stream Crossings Assessment Project: Call for Volunteers
The NRWA needs volunteers in March and April to assist with stream crossing assessments in 9 watershed communities. No prior experience needed. For anyone who would want to become certified in NAACC protocols, training can be provided.
Turtles of the Nashua River Watershed
MassWildlife Freshwater Turtle Biologist, Michela Coury, will speak at the NRWA about the habits and habitats of our Nashua River watershed turtle populations. Free; registration required.
Townsend Residents: Flood Reduction Workshop
